From Delta Blues to post-War Chicago Blues, and everything in between. The last Thursday of every month is devoted to "Golden Soul", the best of Rhythm & Blues and soul music.
Rose was born in Greenville, Mississippi, Queen City of the Delta. She comes from a musical family and played her first guitar at age six. She's experienced cotton fields and jukejoints, spent time with Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Jimmy Reed, and many more.
Join Rose each week as she explores the history of the blues, gives you this day in history, sometimes shares a recipe or two, and engages you with the wackiest contests around.
